Thank you for the comments on my homepage and my birds. Kacey has come a long way, she is very energetic now and playing, her wing still hurts and she chirps loudly when she preens it. She also has a lump on it that we are keeping a watch on. Maxi is a senior tiel, soon to be 15 yrs old on Aug 25th. He's a small sized tiel but very fiesty. And then there's my SweetPepper. She is the delight of my life. She is a cuddlebug but also independent, a hard toy player.
Your birds are wonderful. I just love the coloring of Rio. Laker has been fun to read about also. I too check in from time to time on your homepage. I absolutely love the art drawings of all your budgies. I hope you frame them and hang them in your house to enjoy. I wish I could draw, but since I can't photos will just have to do.
Once I get the newest pics on my camera downloaded onto my computer, I can update my homepage with new stuff. Your homepage way outshines mine. |

Hello, Yes indeed anything is possiable.
Any bird or animal can bond with you if you give it time
they need to learn to trust you first. I have taken in alot of quakers and cockateils and they all have bonded with there new families.
My quaker is very cage terriotal but if she is away from her cage she is a sweet heart and loves everyone now.
I now have two cockateils that were very very mean
they now do not bite me when clean their cages and one will sit on my finger.
I do not know if I will ever get them super friendly but they are 12 yrs old and appear happy now.
It take time and trusting of each other..I sit in my bird room everyday and talk to my babies
I love the sounds they make and when they do get to loud I give them some extra attention,
I would love to have afree flyier I m hopeing one of my baby parakeets can be one
How did you do it..make thm free flyers? do they come to you when called?
I will help you any way i can
take a chance on this quaker i think you will enjoy it |
