Kacey's wing trauma - holly Molly! - What a horrible time for everyone! - not to mention your pocket book - which you never mentioned {brave person} Shocked I am so happy to hear the the little darling is improving. - Bad Pepper!

I am on another bird board & one of the people there is a great parrot person - who is very involved in bird rescue & rehabilitation. She has a Nanday & Too. They've been friends for may years & were often out together at the same time & would play & preen each other. The one day the Nanday flew up into the air - something startled him - scared the Too & in a second the Too had the Nanday in it's beak.
There were terrible injuries - the poor bird's skull was broken. But after many months of rehab the bird - although blind in one eye is OK. At first it had seizures & was so fragile that they didn't think it would survive. They now are kept in different rooms from one another.
Ever since this woman has tried to warn others about keeping different species together - especially ones that are stronger. I know it isn't always possible & lots of people have a variety of birds.

After reading her story & now yours, i am even more paranoid about keeping a different species around someone as small as my Budgie. Rolling Eyes
